Coughing can be so annoying, especially if it isn’t producing anything. For a dry cough, this tea provides marshmallow root, which is recommended as an expectorant. Licorice adds a sweet taste and a potential anti-inflammatory response.

To make:
This tea is best made by adding 1 tsp tea to 8 oz water and heating both in a pan to boiling. Simmer 8-10 minutes, then strain and enjoy, adding sweetener as desired. It can also be made (less strong) by adding 1-2 tsp tea to 8 oz boiling water, covered, and steep for 10 minutes. Strain and drink.
